Chilean chef Cristian Encina discovered his love for cooking as a teenager then hones his skills in Australia and New Zealand before landing in Bali, where he is chef-owner of PICA South American Kitchen, modern bistro project Cantina Rooftop and Boliche tapas bar. On November 27 he will bring punchy South American flavours to the freshly minted Raw Kitchen Hall at Else, Kuala Lumpur’s hottest new boutique hotel.
For one night only, Cristian, Raw Kitchen Hall head chef Chee Mun Leong, and chef Jun Wong (of the soon-to-launch Yellow Fin Horse) will put their heads together to create a series of bold Latin-Asian dishes, big on personality, dynamic on taste.
Think sharing plates featuring seasonal local ingredients and bursting with flavour.
