Kita Food Festival 2022

The 2022 festival offered a series of dining events, masterclasses, TED-style talks and Horizons, our mentorship programme for promising young chefs.

We brought together more than 60 leading regional chefs, producers and tastemakers from across Southeast Asia for 22 events in three different destinations across Malaysia:

LANGKAWI

Chefs Darren Teoh of Dewakan, Prateek Sadhu from Mumbai and Chai Chun Boon from Langkawi kicked off the 2022 festival with a weekend at The Datai Langkawi.

   

PENANG

The weekend in Penang saw collaborations between Kim Hock Su and Aitor Jeronimo Orive, Johnson Wong and Andrew Martin as well as a laidback multi-chef mezze at ChinaHouse.

   

KUALA LUMPUR

The weekend in Kuala Lumpur saw a total of 9 collaborative dinners, a multi-chef barbecue at Tiffin at the Yard and Conversations, our TED-style series of talks and panels by industry leaders.
